What do you guys think?
Hey guys. Have been snooping around the forums for a couple of days now. Looking at buying a project 93 CBR600 F2.
Here is the guys posting:
This 1993 CBR600 F2 was in a front end collision last May and has not been ridden since. I have the title in hand.
Things I know about the bike (some are not in the picture):
The Good:
-Motor has 38k miles but ran great before the accident
-Rear Wheel is in good condition
-Swingarm is in good condition
-Rear side plastics are in good condition
-Front Forks are Good and straight (the forks pictured are not the ones that were on the bike when the accident happened)
-All breaks & breaking systems are in good condition
-Chain & Sprockets are new, less than 1000 miles on them.
-Rear suspension is in good condition
-Other small components such as electrical, rearsets, tires, etc. are in good condition
The Bad:
-Frame is only slightly bent
-Front Wheel is slightly bent
-No Headers
-Some of the plastics are ruined
-No headlight
-1993 w/ 38k miles
The Ugly:
-Tank has a fist size dent near the seat
-Seat is good but has tears in the vinyl. I have a brand new seat cover for it.
-Yosh Slip-on is in decent condition, but is dented.
-Side Fairings are in ok condition, but have some broken tabs, scratches, and holes.
Pics look ok. Needs some work, but I would enjoy it. Her is asking $800. I offered $600, her said $700 and done.
