Hello All! Nice looking site you have here!

Well to cut a long story short, the reason I'm here is to look for some pictures! I'm looking for a picture of a CBR600 cylinder head cut in half, showing you the valve layout and inlet/exhaust port path!

If anybody has such pictures, or has any links to sites with lots of useful information/pics about the CBR600 engine, they would be much appreciated!

sorry man. did some searching and found nothing. no internal engine pics. good luck with your search and welcome to the site.

 

I'd suggest looking for copies of the bike mags that reviewed the model you're after. They sometimes show cutouts of the motor as it compares to previous models. Also the service manual should have some money shots of the motor. Which model year are you looking for in particular?

 

Hi guys, thanks for the replies!

Yeah I tried google but to no avail! Thought I would try on here to see if there was any hardcore engine gurus! I've had a flick through the Haynes manual (93-98 I think) and it's only really maintenance pics in there.

Haven't got any bike mags, but I'll go try and find some mag websites!

It's mainly the engine tech specs etc I'm after, as I'm doing a project on the engine for uni!
