Hello and welcome to the site. As they were saying go to the dealer and sit on some bikes and see what fits you the best.

 

You sound a lot like me a while back. I had several cruisers and still have a Goldwing. I wasn't sure what to do either. I went to the dealer and sat on an F4i and a 600RR. I was afraid I would be too sore and not be able to handle it (I'm 48). I got the F4i fully expecting to only ride it occassionally. Well, I was hooked immediately!! I put several thousand miles on it during the winter! I couldn't stay off of it!

Anyway, I only kept it for a few months and then went back to the dealer and traded it in for a 1000RR. Like I said, I never expected to be riding the "crotch rocket" near as much as I have been... now I'm doing track days this year and I would've bet big money that would've never happened.

Just goes to show, you never really know. Start where you think is best for you, but if you get bit by the bug as hard as I did, you may find your other bike sitting more and more!
