Default Fuel pump

Hello Blade lovers, don't think I need to run thru a what could it be diagnosis as to why my bike won't start. As far as I'm concerned, the fuel pump has shat itself & I was wanting to know if it's a simple operation to remove old & replace with new ?

It's those other times that'll get cha.

Drain as much of the fuel as possible. Wear eye protection. Remove the breather tube. Remove the signal wire at the harness. Did I already say "Wear eye protection"? Take a wrench to the bolt holding the fuel line to the pump....did you put on eye protection????

Flip over tank and remove the small nuts holding pump onto bottom of tank. remove pump and install new one. Replace the rubber boot sealing the pump and tank. Re-torque the bolts...you do have a torque wrench, right? No- THEN STOP HERE AND GET ONE BEFORE PROCEEDING. Torque the bolts...but check the measurements on the torque wrench first. Reinstall the hoses. Refit but do not re-install the tank. Fill with fuel. Check for leaks. Re-install the tank. Test ride.

Now clean up all that stuff from the mess you made. Put your clothes in washer from the fuel you splashed on yourself....be thankful you followed my advice about eye protection.
