Hello everybody, the name is Mike. Ive been checking out this forum since 2003. A little background on my experiance. I started racing motocross at age 5 until i was about 19. i purchased my first street bike at age 18, it was a 1987 suzuki gsxr 750 (wonderful starter bike) i bought that bike for $1200 , it was laid down but had only fairing damage. I fixed the bodywork myself and sold it about 6 months later for $2500. I going to use that as a down payment on a new 2003 R6, but the dealer i used for motocross bikes also carried HONDA. so after he showed me the new 600 from honda.(first year for 600rr) i was in love. So i bought the red and black. Rode this bike for about 2 years and them came getting married and buying a house so i sold the RR.. it has been about 2 years since ive had a bike, and the wife was now pregnant. Somehow she *allowed* me to buy a brand new 2006 1000rr. last month. (3 weeks before the baby was born) lol. Ive been able to put about 300miles on her so far, it took me about 100 miles of that to get my barrings back and feel comfortable on the road again. P.S i bought the 1000 from the same dealer, this would make bike #6 from him so he gave me this offer. a brand new 07 1000rr for 11,200 otd, or a left over 06 1000rr for 8,700 OTD. it was a no brainer , i had him order me an all black 06 model... GOOD RIDIN

Yeah, life as a father is great. It blows my mind still to think im a Dad... I sure do hope he doesnt have my spending habits, lol oh and by the way im doing my fender kit today. it is a larrys kit but im modifiying the black plastic shroud that covers the heat shield so that i can keep it. That black shroud sure does clean it up.

Aint that the truth, definatly changed more diapers than i have gears thats for sure..
