hey...
Names Dennis. I recently purchased this cbr 929 (yesterday to be exact)
needs some work on it like left fork tube new clutch cable left peg and left handlebar. I have just now recently joined the bike scene as previously I was deeply into mini trucks.
You might wonder why my first bike is a 929?
Well like I said it needs work (and time to work on it) and with the help of my buddies Ive been riding a gixxer6 for a while to practice. I added that in because as a newb ill prob ask stupid questions..lol
Been on different truck forums in the past now id like to meet some crazy bike enthusiast.

lots of work ahead

Hello Dennis, congratulations on your new bike. Hopefully the knowledgeable folks in here can assist you in putting it back to working order. It sounds like you've got previous experience turning a wrench so that's a big plus ~ good luck.

Hello & welcome Dennis!
Good luck with the rebuild of the 900RR, er I mean your 929.......
Bike is most definitely a 900RR not a 929.
I can tell just by looking at the frame, totally different design between the 2 bikes
DId the seller tell you it was a 929?
Post up your questions in the 900RR/929 forums, they'll help you out

I guess i should of mentioned its just a 94 900rr frame with 98 929 parts/engine on it
I ran the VIN and it was in an accident before i got my hands on it.
The guy is having a baby so the wife nagged him into selling it.
