What is a safe temp for a 600RR?

Under 240. I usually get to 225 at lights on hot days. Your idle needs to be 1300+-100 or your bike will heat up much faster. While moving at 55, I'm at 176.

Yeah, your bike really shouldn't hit about 240. For me, my fan kicks on at about 223, and has never gone about 230 no matter how long I'm idling.
