CBR1000FL stalls during rides
Hello all..
I've had my CBR1000FL for some time now and she's been running smooth until a couple of days ago.. I took a long ride(95miles) a couple of days ago, and she was performing real good.. A few days later, she starts running rough, stalling and battery draining every now and then.. She has new plugs, coils are working good, carbs are clean and well synced, valve clearance is set at 0.10intake and 0.20 exhaust, vacuum suction pipe for fuel is working well and breather pipe from the tank is okay..
Now the problem is, she idles and runs so well when she's cold.. In the morning, I'll pull in the choke and she'll start in one or two ignitions. She'll idle well on choke then pull the choke off once the RPMs go up a few secs later.. I'll ride her for about 2miles then she starts misbehaving; runs as if she's starving(fuel), loose power(won't go past 7,000rpm), sounds as if she's running on 2 or 3 cylinders, then stalls.. From there, she won't start again until the engine is totally cold. and the cycle continues.
A friend suggested I check my stator saying it might not be providing enough current for the coils.. Also that's the problem, what other bike's stator would be compatible with the CBR1000FL SC24 because I can't find an original one for this bike.
Has anyone experienced this kind of issue? Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you

Pop the gas cap next time it stalls - if you hear air rush in, or the bike starts after you pop the cap then your problem is the vent tube is blocked. Happened to me a few times over the last 30 years.
I've tried to disconnect the fuel line at the fuel filter and tried to crank the engine and flow of fuel from the filter connected to the tank seems to be enough to feed all four carbs with no isue.
