Default No longer an urgent problem thanks.

I know i ask alot, but this ISH is off the hook. I take out my bike put it on choke, and start it. Its running fine then all of a sudden it lowers in rpms, and dies. Then you go through a series of starts ranging from 2000 rpms down until nothing. WHAT the Hell is this... What am i dealing with here?

Could it be flooding? or Gummed Carbs, Don know what it means but i am pullin stuff out of my *** to fix this issue.

Please help a **** indistress.

By the way this had to happen because i hooked up with really hot chick last night. Shes Jealous.

Let it sit a while then start over using the choke. When I had carbed bikes I'd only leave the choke on long enough to start it -- especially when the weather starts getting colder. Takes forever to "unflood" when it's cold.

Is it only happening at cold start? try holding the throttle on a little when you start and warm it up a little before you return to idle. You might need to raise the idle if it's getting cold...I think.

Check your plugs. You should leave your choke on for about 15 seconds and make sure it is around 2500-3000 rpms when it is on. when it is at 3000 rpms it pump alot more oil to the engine.

Boys... I appreciate it, you are the best. I went out broke the bike down, and found the fuel vent tube, clogged along with some petcock issues. I cleaned it and it started. Infact its running alot better.

Until i was leaving school got outta control laid the bike down and crashed into a car. It was interesting. Don worry CBR Forum, i am walking, and seem to be ok. If anything happens overnight i will hit the hospital. As for the bike, I thrashed the right side a bit, some deep scratches. but all in all everything is working, i got right back up and rode home.

Is there anything i should look out for with a laid down bike. the oil is fine, and its not leaking fuel. So i think i am free, As i said i drove it home, and everything was fine.

Sorry to hear mate. You might want to hide your bike in the garage and tell this hot chick its been sent away getting some insane mods. Atleast until you get it fixed

Outta the frying pan and into the fire [:@] Sorry to hear that man.

If you're not leaking any fluids then that's a good sign. You'll need to check the frame for cracks very carefully -- if you hit hard enough then ya might want a dealer to check the frame for warp or bend.

Again, sorry to hear ya laid it down. Hope you heal up fast.
