Hi all,
I've had my 1995 cbr1000f for less than aweek and just been brought home in a recovery van. Recovery guy reckons it's the alternator not the reg/rec... anyone got one or know where they can be got? I'm in the UK by the way... Hoylake to be precise. I had not meant my first post to be a request for help but... thanks in advance

Well... before any alternators could arrive the machine got nicked and recovered within 24 hours but as it's in lockup I can't get near it til at least Wednesday!! The recovery firm tell me the ignition and the fuel cap are ####ed!! Looking around there seems to be plenty of cbr600f ignition and fuel caps and they seem to fit lots of models but only one for the cbr1000f. Does anyone know if there is a cross over? I await your responses with baited breath

 

Hi Matt ,looking in the title of this e-bay, there does seem yo be a cross over, even though Fowlers show it as obsolete , have a look
