Default buying my first cbr this week...laid down...

hey guys, been riding all my life. currently own a 08 gsx650f. I'm going this week to buy an 04 600 RR with 12,000 k on it for 4000.00 "never owned anything this fast before" It was in a accident years ago, laid down on the right side. all the plastic on that side seems to be seperated in places and that one fork seal leaks...any suggestion on how hard this will be for me to repair, over all other then that the bike is in good shape and I'm really excited about getting this, but I really want to fix up the plastic!!! seperation is in the seem of the tank and upper fairing and the very bottom fairing is seperated. plz help thanks in advance!

Hey there RR600RR, congratulations on your new bike. For your introductory 1st post, you sure put together a tall order, lol. First thing you probably want to do is get yourself a service manual (link). The fork seals are going to take priority, and it sounds like the plastics are just cosmetic. Either way you'll be better off asking these questions in their appropriate areas where someone will be able to guide in the right direction. Good luck.

Hey welcome to the forum. You could always look into aftermarket fairing kits.

Regardless good luck and lets see some pictures when you get the bike
