Hey yall im new to this thing so if im doin this in the wrong place let me kno. but i am havin a few problems with my bike it is a 93 900rr and im pretty sure it has a 99 900 rr motor in it. the engine code is sc33e-2214233, if that makes sense to any of you please let me know. also i pulled the crank cover on the stater side of the motor to change the cover ( it was scratched) i didnt even think to unhook the battery and now the battery is dead, i can boost it but it dosnt seem to hold charge, did i do something wrong? and also i got it running and let it warm up good hopeing it would charge the battery and when i shut it off coolent was pumping onto the floor out the overflow, my fans are on a switch not like usual but if any one can help me out with what im doing wrong please help me out

Welcome to the forum Curtis.

Before you dig too deep into this problem, put your battery on a slow charge for over night and see what that does. Bikes don't charge the battery unless you are around 4000 rpm or higher.
