I have a 1993 cbr 600 f2 and over the winter i gave it a tune up. I got it running like a champ. Went ahead put all the fairings on it. Went out about a week later to start it and make sure that it was running good still. I turned on the key and nothing happened. My first guess was that the battery had went bad. I went and bought a new battery. That didnt work i did jump the starter and got the bike to turn over but not start because there was no gas tank. I think it might have something to do with the ignition what would be an easy way to check to see if that is it.

 

Um, check the kill switch and make sure you don't have it in gear with the kickstand down.
