That really was an excellent story ... good reason to just generally be nice ... ya never know when the favor might be repaid ...

I guess thats it Pete. Some folks associate Harleys with the outlaw image. And they choose that image because they want to be that kind of person (or at least be seen as that kind of person), and since they are all dressed up, they act the part to sell it. Tough guy. Seems kind of shallow, huh.

 

Whats crazy is, that when I was like 10 or some where around that age I always loved the look of a harley springer soft tail, but now after riding cruisers and sport, and sport touring. I have decided to stay with sport touring styled bikes(more comfortable) and the price of a new harley I was like FTW!!!!! I still think some look nice, but comfort and price keep me riding my bike. But if I was ever to ride another cruiser, it would be an M109R.

It's a frickin brillaint phrase. I highly recommend it use, It's bloody great to use when you encountwer some R'se ole giving grief anywhere to someone (Typically at the gas station in my case with some 'oaff' giving the staff a hard time, that just pizzes me off!!)

Ya pull out a suitable 'cupcake' comment this typically catches the Rse ole out like a stunned mullet and best of all, everyone else rolling around the floor laughing at em, situation over cos they have been embarassed badly, exit-stage right to hoots of laughter and finger pointing.

Typically ya can round it off nicely as they exit with a nice "suck on that Princess!"

Totally Agree, seen and sat on one last week at work, coooooomfy position. One of our IT geeks has bought one, veeeeeery nice in all manner. He also had the pipes changed as apart of the deal with the bike shop, sounds awesome.
