I remember coming home late one night after a night out, not quite ready to call it quits, the night had been spent with family and I needed something to round the night off. I turned on the TV and this was just starting!
It did the trick, hope it does the same for you.
I've always admired Jeff Becks' technique, He's dispensed with the plectrum, while still playing in a rock/jazz style (rather than reverting to the classical), and by removing that bit of plastic he has merged seamlessly with the instrument, which surely is the ultimate goal?
As far as I'm aware (please correct me if I'm wrong), no one else plays this way (with the possible exception of Mark Knopfler), therefore if you wanted to cover a JB composition you would have to re-learn the instrument!
And then he reminds us of Sgt Pepper.
But then if you've got JP in the audience you can't be doing too much wrong.
Enjoy

Went to a Fleetwood Mac concert a couple of years ago
Lindsay Buckingham seems to play bare fingered for want of a better expression all the time also.
An extended version of "Oh Well" with Buckingham and Fleetwood onstage alone was truely an amazing experience not to mention about 15 minutes worth of "Tusk" and of course the added attraction of Stevie Nicks still looking pretty special even at her advanced age (what me? an old fart?)
A fantastic musical experienceas we were seated right next to the sound mixing crew so I guess we had probably the best possible location in the arena.

Last year my brother-in-law had a great idea. He took the NCAA march madness bracket and replaced all 64 teams with hair metal bands. This year we did it again with songs. There were about 30 or so of his friends participating in the tournament. Basically as march madness goes along, we vote on the song matchups to complete the bracket and this weekend was the party where we all got together and voted on the last couple matchups. Paradise city by GNR won. Though i thought there were plenty of songs in the bracket that deserved it more...
