I knew there was a reason why I married my wife, because she is awesome.

I woke up early as I do (sparrows fart o'clock) and as I got out of bed my beloved said she was having a lie in and why don't i go out on the bike.

80 miles later I'm sat in Starbucks waiting for her to arrive in her car.

Happy Mother's Day to all mums out there.

My beloved even told me to buy some new gloves because mine were ripped. 104 quid later and a happy man or so I thought..

I'm not usually a lazy person but thought I could get away with an additive in the tank but it's not working as I expected. The tick over is garbage and it actually stopped at the house so it looks like carbs off and a complete clean. Shouldn't take too long though.

Next purchase will be a carb balancer so I can do mine and Tiggr's carbs once a year.

The Morgan Carbtune Pro balancer is really good Chippy, got mine off e-bay at a good price.

If you do decide to go for one, I recommend getting the case as well, great for storing all the bits between uses.

Their web site Morgan Carbtune - carburetor synchronizer for balancing motorcycle carbs

Well the brake switch turned up today so I fitted that and thought sod it and whioped the carbs out. They are now nice and clean inside and tick over is a lot better.

I will be getting the carbtune balancers hopefully next week and will balance the carbs and chexk that all is well by having a nice long ride somewhere.

I really thought the old girl had it in for me after the brake light switch and the garbage tick over but she has shown her true colours today by whizzing me to meet my beloved when I was late for our lunch date. She didn't miss a beat.
