Default Any jeepers out there?

Curious if any of you bike connoisseurs also share my affinity for Jeeps.
I have a 94 (Same year as my bike) sahara 5-speed lifted 2.5"
She's a work in progress.

I used to have a land rover defender TD90 and would love one again, but if I wanted to play offroad Id still go for 2 wheels not 4.

I dont really know anything about Jeeps but she looks smart.

Theres no technology in a defender, engine, transfer box. chassis, wheels, panels, that's it. In winter the only way to keep warm is to light a fire in the cab.

You are thinking of the discovery and above my friend, theres nowt more basic than a defender.

Ha Ha HA....

I was looking at getting an Unlimited but wow, even used is over priced. I'm working south of Dallas, TX and rented a Patriot to see how she goes. Heading in on shift, 9:00 PM lats night after sudden down pour, roads were slick, got her sideways and trac control lite came on at 70 mph in turn. LOL
4-bannger not so hot, need more power.
Never owned a Jeep but its on the back burner, they are fun.

Who owns them these days?

Holy chit man! Have you ever owned a Subaru Outback? There is a very small hole that I can't put my thumb in, that somewhat blows some warm air at my knee cap. Buddy, you freeze your a$$ of in one of those things. My Jeep rental has more heat if I open all the windows.

What i meant was there is more tech in the 4WD systems in Landrovers. At least according to Top Gear, which i mostly enjoy for the humor...

My jeep has very good heat. You could literally burn yourself if you wore sandals and had the heater on full blast. And it has a big flat spot where the A\C unit COULD be. but its now a mount for my P.A. unit so i can yell at people. haven't used it in traffic yet...

Best I can manage was a Landrover S3 with a 4100 Chev engine.
It was a bloody pig.
