It's so frick'n hot here most of the year I have to have it open at the bottom about 1/2 to 3/4", but the darn stop is getting worn and slamming down when I speed up. Going to have to wedge something in it.

When it is stupid hot, or I'm just puttering around, I either go with NO helmet or a half helmet with these goggles that make me look like Snoopy.

Let's hope you don't end up like the Red Baron !

I'd rather sweat than bleed, every time !

That's what I hope every time I mount up. My wife asks me if my insurance is paid up every time she sees me getting on a bike. She's so romantic.

I know what you mean 'J' , I just got back from Singapore reeeealy hot 100% humidity , don't see many riders wearing full kit out there , though I think a helmet is compulsory .

Mainly it's Tshirt n flip-flops and for some strange reason they wear a light jacket , back to front??? Don't know what that's all about , but if they come off they're gonners!

Would be too hot for me to ride all kitted up , I've become a 'Goldie Locks' rider , not too hot not too cold

Maybe they're just trying to be original and it's the "style", and the sideways ball cap, flat bill, low pants, boxers on the outside have all been "done."

I don't think it's a style thing so much Joe , as some of the guys are a little more mature like you 'n' I

You shouldn't take me that seriously. My guess is they like to have their jackets open but not whipping around behind them.

Or they're just the dork squad.

When putting around town the visor is open a bit for ventilation. On the road it's shut to keep bugs, rocks, and grit out, and to keep my contact lenses from getting too funky.
