Turning the engine by hand
Alright guys,
I have an engine that’s been sitting in the garage for a few years. Decided to get it out, do some valve clearances and clean it up to possibly run - came from a garage clearance on eBay. Was meant to be from a running bike. Guy seemed genuine but of course it might have issues.
So dropped the crank shaft cover on the left side, tried to turn it over (anti clockwise) but the bolt just came undone. My question I suppose is what does this mean and how do I tighten it back up without turning the engine over the wrong way (clockwise).
cheers guys.
