Slightly back on topic:
Verizon has GPS on their phones and on one page it will tell you your actual speed. It's a few seconds behind, but it ought to work well at 60 or 80 if you can maintain a constant speed and have your reading glasses on.

House, I'm actually running the Dunlop Qualifiers on my 'Cane right now.
They warm up fast, they're real sticky, but the mileage isn't very good. I think maybe 5k or so and you'll be looking for new ones. I believe they're a single compound tire, and softer, so they tend to want to flat in the middle a bit.
I would ask them about the Battlax BT021. They may have that.
Or you could just ask them what they have in a dual compound sport tourer.
I'm currently running my bike at a constant lean to try and keep it from squaring off during my commute. It's quite a difficult thing to do....

Nothing but great things to say about my BT021's. They warm up just fine, corner well. I've got just about 2k on mine with 50/50 commuting and riding twisties out in BFE and they show no real signs of wear or a flat spot.
p.s. I'm lurking your section!! You guys have some of the damn funniest threads..
You have to be older to understand some of the old guys in the Saloon, I'm still trying to figure some of the talk here, especially when some of them type without their dentures in. Enjoy!
