Remember the Canadian RR's are called Hurricanes. 2008 1KRR. It had more to go but I was running out of road. Only cosmetic mods.

So what's the deal? "Hurricane" wasn't cool enough for us Yanks any more but they figured what the heck for those in "Canadia"?

Officially, just plain old RR's I think. But I'm sure not the expert. Apparently they think Yanks just like the model designation numbers best. Maybe they think we'll get confused.

I like the retro moniker for it. The bike is not decaled as a Hurricane, but I am looking for an original style "Hurricane" decal in black for it.
Sorry for the thread jack...

I never understood that whole Hurricane thing on the manuals up there. It's weird because mine is a '95 and isn't even called a 'Cane anywhere..... not even on the manuals.

The US dropped that name in like 1988 or something.... we just have 1000RRs. Europe has the blades..

In Aussie 600F/1000F were decalled as "Supersport"[mine were/are].
Fireblades are Decalled as obviously Fireblade.

Probably on the island of misfit toys..... along with the "charlie in the box", that train with square wheels, and the toy boat that won't float.
