A nice pair mate. Don't think the nose cone on the CBR is the original one though.

G'Day Dudes,

Craig from South Australia - Adelaide Hills, some of the best motorcycling roads right outside my door. - and I had to dodge a Koala crossing the road near Kersbrook!

Bought a 91 CBR1000f yesterday for silly cheap money (always liked the look of them). Got it going today and loved the ride through the hills this afternoon. Solid, power on tap, sure-footed. A few mods to do, one is shift the gear lever, and the other is to fix the starting problem.

I'll do some more reading on the board and then ask hopefully pertinent questions to pin point and repair the problem.

Cheers, SB

Default Just saying hi

Hello all,

Steve for Newcastle here. Have had a CBR1000f-x (says that on the frame anyway), 1999 52.5 thou miles for about a year now.

Its been on its side and painted up, before I had it, but still goes-stops-rattles etc. Needs fettling but love it already.

Cheers

Hello all, I'm Shan and a happy new (to me) CBR 1KF owner. Cant wait to open her up on these Oregon roads. It's been a while since my last bike and now I am already starting to have that I need to be on the road everyday feeling.
Thanks for all the great info and help you guys provide on this here site.

Just wanted to say hello, I'm from Sweden and own a 1000 f from -92.
Sorry to say I have to do some maintenance before I can ride it again, only
managed to ride it twice after I bought it last fall.
