Default lift / jack

check it out, sorry, prob a repost or i.m not using the right search technique

http://xtcommerce.motorradteile-burs...0-2009-10.html

has anyone ever made anything, for the purpose of lifting / storing / maintenance of a bike ... with a welder and a trolly jack,or similar

i'm handy to a welder, and interested in an idea to lift my "fridge" ..
during the winter it'll be getting the rear arm powdercoated red to match my colour scheme and a new chain & sprockets.

i don't mind removing the fairings,
i have a couple of trolly jacks, steel(some) castor wheels etc

whats the best balance point, or best lift point,as it will change balance as i remove heavy parts

i'm limited to a small enough a space,so would prefer it on wheels, but only to pull it out from a wall(3 - 4 feet)

Have a look at the post about the caster wheeled unit "you have to see this"
Maybe adaptable to what you want. I'd use the front of the swingarm as a jack point.............

That's what I thought, too, but he said he wouldn't trust it if I remember correctly.

You and I are thinking along the same lines there Ken. That was an interesting
unit albeit a very pricey one.

I made my own bike ramp a couple years ago. Can lift a couple of ton. There is a thread on here somewhere with pictures...
