bike jack/lift
I recently joined this forum b/c of the amazing amount of quality information. I know my way around a chevy pretty well, but know squat about my bike. Im learning though. I find turning wrenches is the same no matter what, that iswhen your not stranded and can take time to enjoy it. Well what I didnt know was the best way to raise the bike off the ground.
I recently bought a conventional bike jack and nearly dumped my F2 on the garage floor. I didnt realize the header was uneven under the bike. I have seen pics of bikes with tubular jacks under the front and rear end lifting the bikes evenly and safely. where is the best place to get those for the money. I really dont want to take my bike to the shop for service if I dont have to, but I dont want to lay on the ground to tinker on it either. Thanks for any and all advice and keep em on two wheels (or atleast one).

RE: bike jack/lift
Thanks for the comments. I was looking through some other posts, one about an engine, and they actually talked about the T-rex on ebay. I had been searching lifts instead of stands. I found several different brands. I was unsure about which were the best, but i suppose they will all lift the bike and secure it until the project is complete. Thanks again for all the replies.
