That's what the Doc called it - but then again he was better at treating horses, so maybe.........
Yer, OK checked Wiki - Doc should have stayed with horses.
Anyway it was also called "frozen shoulder"...............

Frozen Shoulder s'more like it ..........had that when I shattered my arm
that time.............took a year of constant stretching to get it up straight
above my head........had to stand by a door frame and keep making it
stretch further and further up the frame until eventually I could do it
without the aid of the door frame...............it was very very importent
and I was obsessive about achieving total success

IT WAS MY HEAVY LIFTING DRINKING APPENDAGE

Can't do a cheers lads ..............down low

Shadow must have gone into the doc with 2 different issues..... one was the shoulder...one was coksack related.
He gets confused sometimes...

Isn't Coxsackie B virus the one that makes your nadgers fall off and you have to carry them around in a little purse???

Oh know , that was my missus and she handed them to me on a plate

Well I been out a couple of times as the pain has worn of and now the shoulder is just stiff and I can recommend riding as a first class form of physiotherapy!

Each time I come back more refreshed and a greater range of movement in the old joint

Mind you if I'd been home when it first started , I wouldn't have been able to go near the bike , the only reason I could ride at all the first time was 'cos I'd already given it 6 days rest/pain killers!

Couple of weeks and I'm hoping I'll be totally recovered

I swear by that glucosamine / condritin **** for joint repairs and maintenance. Got thrown over a blokes head a few years ago (oriental dancing training ) and landed funny. Ended up with a knee the size and shape of a rugby ball. I swear that stuff helped me heal. One doctor wanted me under the knife straight away, but I wouldn't be in it so soon. Also was getting a really sore hip (middle age ) and after a few weeks on the supplement no pain at all. Better that prescribed drugs I think.

Glad you're feeling better!

I've heard of other people that swear by that glucosamine/chondroitin stuff, too. Say it works really good. Never tried it myself....
