Sorry Seb no new pics to post yet. Have removed most of the smashed fairing etc and cut away the twisted remains of the subframe but haven't begun the process of stripping/rebuilding yet. As soon as I do I'll post more pics.
The pattern fairing arrived from Poland. It looks ok and the headlight and indicators fit fine. Being fibreglass rather than OE GRP it is thicker so the original mounting clips aren't going to work without a lot of rubbing down which would weaken the panel at critical points :-/ Also the holes for wellnuts (screen screws etc) are undersized so will need drilling out.
As for cosmetics the places where the original panels would have met have raised moulding marks so will need cleaning up to get a nice finish before paint.
All in all it looks like a really good solution to a smashed top cowl as long as you are willing and able to modify the part to finish it off. A small price to pay for a massive saving on OE panels I think.

I have a screen on order but still need a left silencer, left crash bar cover, left crash bar and new front tyre to complete the rebuild. I will probably paint the top cowl red myself for now but plan on a full respray when time and cash permit.

Well I made some more progress today. Found a pair of standard silencers from a 97 bike on good old eBay so fitted them. Spent some time sorting matching and appropriate fastners for screen etc including drilling out the mounting points for wellnuts around the screen so all that is properly secured now.
Still have a coolant leak to sort out and need to reroute a bit of loom which pulls a connector block apart but she is looking the part and sounds better! :-D
