Default Crazy Weather

Hey:

It has been a normal weather here ranging from the 50s-mid 70 F during the day with cooler nites. Today mid 60 F & Sunny. Tomorrow and the day after that highs in the lower 40 F with 2-5" of snow. Monday back to mid 50 F and sunny, so only the weekend is snowed out, go figure then back to regular winter for here, Crazy Climate Change. We rarely ever get snow but have three times in the last 2 years more than the previous 10 YRs. So how has your Weather been this Winter?

Highest rainfall for the period in the past 100 years.
Over the past 25 years it has changed and we now get rain right through the year.
How about these hailstones from just 50 miles west of us..............crazy stuff

Here in Montana, well, Central Montana, we're having one of the warmest winters in a long time. Highs in the thirties (F) with only one or two days zero or below. We get a few inches of snow, then it melts off. The only time it was below zero for more than a day I was in Phoenix with my son and grandson for a NASCAR race and missed the chance to shiver.

No gripes though. I enjoy warm weather.

Not forgetting some members are in high Summer in the southern hemisphere.

Mrs SB and I drove to Mount Gambier in South Australia's lower south east yesterday, about 900km round trip to collect a bike (which we are selling to partly pay for our next trip).

Let me set the scene by saying we haven't seen rain since we got back from Vietnam mid November 2012. Thunderstorms were forecast yesterday, and we went down the main freeway and there were so much roadworks we decided to come back via the coast. The rainclouds, thunderheads and lighting show was astounding on the journey home, but me missed the bulk of the rain.

Got home after 9PM -11 hours on the road, sat out the front with a refreshing cider and watched the light show. Brilliant!

Cheers, SB
