Default Cbr 1000f electrical problems

hi just bought another cbr 1000f sc21 was running when I bought it got it home only started once then cut out
neutral and oil light comes on when ignition switch in park position also comes on with ignition .
when ignition on bike turns over no fuel pump or headlights no indicators temp gauge goes of scale.
any help or tips would be appreciated have changed pump and solenoid

sounds like a short somewhere, was it ok before you changed the pump and solenoid, if it was this is the likely cause, the pumps are troublesome a lot change to gravity fed which works fine, as with electricals start with the basics fuses and connections then follow the wiring diagram

hi still no starting but when I pull clutch leaver the temp gauge goes down

Might be worth taking a look at the side-stand switch.

then I would check the kill switch and starter switch, take the switchgear apart off the handle bar and clean, not sure if you have a clutch switch (if you have)I would move there next, in the workshop manual there is a trouble shooting guide and diagram for the starter circuit

hi wheelnut have changed the whole assembly kill switch throttle still no joy
took tank of today messed about with coil wires pulled clutch leaver in and it run !!!! when I switch lights on hi/lo beam bike cuts out ideas plz have now got indicators stop light horn but no rear light or frt light

found problem rear earth wire had been painted over cleaned off oldpaint and its fine now
thanks for all the help

Which earth wire was painted over???

the earth wire at the rear just past the control unit opposite side from rectifier
