What's so bad about using a clip type master? I just ordered a chain and it came with clip type master, which Im glad because I don't have a chain press tool. Really what's the likeliness that the chain will come off, kind of got me spooked a lil, especially considering that Im about to put the chain on today.

i used the clip type and the clip poped off at about 40 mph and the chain wadded up around the front sprocket and cracked the case i now have a small oil leak that needs to be welded or replace the case so i would recomend the rivit type .

I got my motion pro riveter/press for like 70$ from my cornwell guy. and all the pins are guaranteed for life, good thing because I broke one on the last rivet the first time I used it, and he replaced it for me.
