Default Wierd Buzz and bad idle

My 99 F4. I went out riding today. Made a few stops along the way. Everything was going fine until I got about 3 lights away from my house. I was waiting at the intersection and it stalled. I started it again no problem. Did the same thing at the next sets of lights. Finally coasting into my drive way, it stalled, and would not start again. So, I thought I was out of gas...maybe. But I got it started by running my choke, and kept it going for a bit. Tried adjusting the idle....but I can't figure out where it should be set. Finally...when I turn the ignition to the on position, there's a brief, wierd buzz/vibration coming from the idle adjustment ****...or somewhere further under, down that line. Any thoughts?

Possibly the fuel pump. I'm going to pull it apart tonight at take a look. While I'm in there, I'll check the carbs aswell. Any more input would be great!

So I pulled it apart...and #1...my throttle stop screw got totally unscrewed. now that that is back in, it's running ok. still fluctuates in revs between 1100 and 1500 all on its own...and I still have that vibration from my fuel pump when I turn on the ignition. Has anyone ever encountered that? If my fuel pump is going, or my filter needs to be changed, I'd like to handle it now while I have the bike apart.
