What year engine fits a 1995 cbr600?
damn, im in ft. myers... i'd rebuild it for you if i had the time.... work is really ramping up
i've rebuilt a few motors - never an f3, but i don't think it'd be that hard. the case isn't lined is it?

well, you can't just have bare aluminum as your cylinder... your piston would just eat that up. so either there's a steel insert or like on the 954- the cylinder is lined with nikasil... if it's lined, it's a much more complicated job because you can't just hone and hatch it like you could if it was steel.
Ah gotcha, I had to get my dirt bikes cylinder sleeved once.
I don't know if its sleeved or lined, he doesn't have the bike apart.
From what I'm hearing from him he doesn't seem to want to put any more money into it which is a shame. My other friend might buy it off of him for $700 and then we might swap the motor / replace the rings. I'll know by tomorrow. If my friend doesn't buy it then I guess he's just going to sell it for $700 on craigslist.
