Default What temp does cooling fans come on?

2004 600RR... temp hits 212....no cooling fan... run at 170 while riding though no problem.. might just not have given it time to kick on? dunno figured id ask

*EDIT* nevermind. its set to 220 F from the factory lol. --shrug-- guess its just normal for your ***** to be hot.

i have a 2002 f4i and my fans don't kick on until temps hit right around 226 or so.

yeah they kicked on when i rode it this mornin when i was at the gas station. were good lol.

off subject but... im not used to the engine wanting to just run at high rpm... even in 6th gear at 65-70 mph its at 3-4 k rpm... dunno if the previous owner put a diff sprocket or if its normal.

The Gearing Commander website will tell you what the rpm should be at a specific speed and gear. Also will tell you what the stock size sprockets are so you can compare with what you have.

Most fans will kick on at 220-225 all depends on the thermostat that is installed. I cant say for all honda's but at least for the f4i's they come on at 225.

Yeah it was 220 on my CBR 600rr and 225ish in the 954 RR
