Default Cooling fan temp setting

Does anyone know a way to change the temp setting that the cooling fan kicks on? I know mine kicks on around 215°F, would really like it to be around 200°F. Don't know if anyone has the same problem as me with mine, but it doesn't start very well when its hot.

You can always add a switch and turn it on manually.

Yeah I thought about installing a switch, but I don't want to drill a hole or install a bracket on my baby. I would rather have a preset temp setting of 200°F if possible

I'm pretty sure you can replace the thermostat with one that activates earlier. At least I remember reading that somewhere.

changing the T stat isn't going to make the fan kick on and off differently
if you put a lower T stat in the only thing that's gonna do is reduce your tendency to detonate in the cylinder resulting in un burnt fuel
and the fan will still kick on at the temps they are now

i took my horn out/off (i've never once used it). so i took out the switch, bought a new switch (not momentary like the horn's switch) and wired it up to kick on the fan. basically, you just want to add a hot wire to the system - the switch makes/brakes it. jacket the hot wire to the plug (or a quick connect to the wire) and the fan will kick on like normal or you can turn it on whenever you feel like it.

you can barely see it, i know.... but that lil red button is it. i did have to epoxy a small area right around it to make it fit in there - but after i sanded and buffed it, i painted it black and it looked good.

it was just a universal switch from radio shack.
