hi i just brought a 1990 cbr250r what model is that. it needs a bit of work and I am keen to learn how to do it, first step what have I got any help would be sweet thanks

What does it read on your title??

Are you sure you're not missing another "r"?

I don't know for sure but a quick search shows that the 250r was made 87-89 but the 250rr WAS made in 1990-1991.

maybe it is like all vehicles. they made the 1990 model in the year 1989 and the research just leads you to believe they stopped in 1989, which they did, but it was after production of the 1990 model.

also, where are you located? 250s were never sold in the US so most of us are not familiar with them at all.

 

hey bud thanks for the sites. the bike has only one front disk brake and on the hedder it reads mc19. so must be a 250r just strange that its not listed anywhere as there being a 1990 model. oh well I love it just the same got a bit of work to do on it nothing major rides real good at the moment

 

hey buddy im in new zealand. yea that seems to be the case cause its deffinatly not a 250rr cause it has only one front disc brake and the frame no has mc19 on it. no worries now I know what mannual to look for. bike needs a bit of work and im a learner. will be a good experience. goes hard now no major things to do. thanks for the help
