Default What is this leak?

I see a whole bunch of goo leaking onto my lower fairing near the shift linkage. The goo is really thick and sticks really badly to anything it touches. Can anyone identify what this can be?
This pic tries to show the leak and where the goo is coming from

This pic shows the actual goo on the plastic.

I tried embedding the pics, using the IMG and IMAGE tags, and it did not seem to work..sorry.

That's grease from the chain that gets slung around. Sucks cuz it makes a big mess, but completely normal[&:]

yuck, I recently cleaned the chain and used MotoPro chain lube. This particular lube doesn't leave any kind of gunk on the chain, it only leaves an invisible film. I'm liking it very much. I'll try my best to clean up that mess, and if the gunk comes back, I'll post back.

even that invisible film will probably collect dirt and sling, there is no perfect lube, thats why you have to clean your chain. but, yeh, that go is annoying, that and black break dust on the front.

u.s.e the "img" an "image" tags. They need to need to be lowercase.
