Can't seem to fix this oil leak that I have had for a while now. It's coming from behind the water pump. I have replaced that o ring seal twice now and it still leaks. WTF. It's kinda embarrassing because it leaks right onto the exhaust and burns it off so when I come to a stop it smokes from underneath. It also gets all over the wheel and swingarm. Anyone ever have a leak from here?

 

I can't help for the leak, but I wouldn't ride the bike with oil blowing on the tire.

Are you overtightening when you reinstall it? That's the only reason I can think that a new oring would leak, unless the shaft/bore is boogered.

 

Didn't over tighten them. It's getting frustrating that I can't seem to get it fixed, especially when I know exactly where its coming from. It started leaking just before I installed my new tranny in late June and thought it would be fixed when I put the case back together, guess I was wrong.
