WD40, good your lubing you chain because it displaces the water, and also its good for cleaning aluminum, its a 2 for 1 deal.

WD40 is a great cleaner, I use it on the chain all the time, but as a lubricant, it doesn't last. Prefer Silkolene myself.

I've had good luck with DuPont™ Teflon® Multi-Use Lubricant (lol). Spray it on, let it dry & wipe off excess. It states that it's O-ring safe on motorcycle chains and is sold at Lowes for $6.

I clean mine with WD-40 on a rag. Then I put on a nice coat of Chain Wax and let it dry before riding, usually overnight. Absolutely nothing slings off....... I love the stuff....

Royal purple full synthetic 75w-90 because it's what I have laying around the garage, and when that is gone I will use the Walmart brand 80w-90 because I have it around the garage. I just use the swing arm stand put it in 1st and let it go as I pour oil onto it. Then I shift up to 6th and run it at 130 for a few seconds and all the oil slings off and I just go ride it.
