Default Weird electrical spikes

I rode my bike to work today even though it was raining lightly. A blink caught my eye so I looked down at the instrument cluster to check it out. My temp gauge was spiking off the scale and going back to normal kinda fast (up and down, up and down), and both of my turn signal indicators were blinking at the same time. What the hell is going on? The bike ran fine, and never even sounded like it might cut off. I just replaced the regulator/rectifier about 2 weeks ago. Could it have gone bad already? Could it just be something with the rain? Any help would be appreciated here.... BTW, I ride a 93 600F2. Thanks!
