Hi I ride a cbr 929 rr and I have recently (today) had the red warning light and efi signal staying on on the dash. Performance doesn't seem to be affected. It is causing me concern. Anybody know whats going on and if this is serious. Bike has only 4000 miles on it. Thanks.

 

dont know, take it to a honda shop, tell them to diag it for free, make sure you tell them you want it done free, some places will.

 

It needs to go on a code reader somewhere its got a sensor fault of ecu malfunction
it should show up on the rev counter though.
when you turn the Ign on the rev counter goes all the way to the end then back
if you got a fault some times it will hit 1000rpm then 3000rpm this is code number 13

just check the rev counter see what that is doing
