I am a new bike owner. I own a 2001 929 and have had it about a year. The other day while riding riding the red warning light came on along with the f1 light. I am not sure what the light means. the bike seams to run fine. I did notice the fuel pump sounds louder then usual when u turn the bike on. whould a bad fuel pump cause the fi light to come on.

 

i own a cbr 600 and my fi light is on also. i did not see mine until i hook up my side markers and my undertail. i am the same as you i dont know if it is a service light or just wiring. if anyone knows please help us thet light is annoying as ****.
