Unknown plug in my F4i Trunk
I bought my 2001 F4i used a couple of months ago and recently noticed this plug in the trunk compartment. I haven't had the chance to take off the rear plastic to see where it connects to, but I was wondering if anyone here might know what it is for. Thanks in advance for any help.

That is for a battery tender. It's a trickle charger, you can use them over the winter to keep your battery nice and charged. The wire you see is the tail that attaches to the battery, then plug into the charger.
That plug does look exactly like one for a battery tender, however, i would still trace it and make sure it goes back to the battery if your planning to use it. Those plugs can be used for multiple things, from powering electronics to plugging in a heated vest.
