Default UK law re LED lights?

I am fed up with those close misses where cars move to pull out infront of you but then see you at the last minute despite high vis jackets and full beam etc. My plan now is to attach a bright flashing White LED light to my left wing mirror which nicely directs at an angle forward towards oncoming left turn junctions ahead.

If not on the bike then on the front of my jacket. The LED flashing is incredibly effective both day and night. They are legal for push bikes but does anyone know re motorbikes

BTW bike is CBR 600

Many thanks

FM
