Has anybody ever heard of the bike making a knocking noise coming out only when revving the bike, not at idle speed or when holding it at a certain rpm but only when revving the bike. I think it is coming from the transmission? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

 

Probably just clutch noise. Hopefully not the clutch cage.

 

What is a clutch cage? I am not mechanically incline at all. A shop was thinkn the clutch basket?????

 

Clutch cage/Clutch basket are the same thing...just two different names for the same part.

 

Well, hope it isn't that. The clutch cage costs around $1500.
