Default transmission noise

ok i hate to repost this again but i really need some help. i have been hearing this noiose for the longest time now and it is not going away and its getting worse. i had the chain tightened by a mechanic and it did not fix it like i hoped. so here is the list of noises that i have been hearing: a clunking noise while accelerating in first gear only. the noise happens when i start to accelerate from a dead stop in first gear and continues on until about 3500-4000 rpm. i would really apprciate any of y'alls opinion on this matter as i am stumped. the only thing i can think of are that first gear is starting to get stripped but the tranny isnt slipping or showing any signs of that whatsoever. so thanx in advanced for yalls help.

My 05 1000rr and my 07 1000rr make the same noise. My dealer checked it out and said it is normal and all is well. I still don't like that either.
