Can anyone please verify any of the two issues below? (I have a 2001 f4i I recently purchased)

1) shifting gears -- when I upshift into gear from 1st-2nd-3rd...etc... I understand the clunking noise is normal. But, is it normal for it to sometimes click twice into a gear? >> so, basically, moving into each gear makes the sound "click click." I'm not sure if this is normal for the f4i, but when I rode my friends 2001 gsx-r600 tonight the gears simply click ONCE into gear, and it seemed like it was a quieter "clunk" but that's not too much of a concern. Can anyone tell me if it's normal for the f4i to shift into gears with the two clicks or does it ALWAYS only click once into gear. I hope this is understandable.

2) when my clutch lever is out and I am in neutral, I can hear and feel a rattle. Is this noise/feel normal?
