Except by this reasoning, why should anyone bother to ever modify their bikes? How should one determine what is "acceptable" or not, as far as cost versus alleged benefit? Listen to others who do not choose the same personal touches?


I'd rather spend 2 grand on bitchin Ti bolts than a sparkly paint job with matching frame and wheels, myself.
