tire help
So Whats a good all around tire for everyday street riding and no track riding. I saw these on sportbike rider Metzeler Sportec M3 has anyone run these. I have heard Pirelli Diablo mentions a couple of times on here. I would like a tire with decent tread life, I do alot of strait highway riding because there is about 2 turns on the 3 hour trip to my parents house that i make once a month.
The Metzeler is a decent choice for that - some good grip, yet good wear. They also make the Z6 - more road oriented.
Michelin makes some higher milage tires too - The Pilot Road namely.
Pirelli - the Scorpion Sync, standard Diablo.
Any of these companies make a top notch product. Go tot eh website for each of them and they will have an application chart.....if you don't go to the race track, all of the high mileage tires will work fine.

I have some Avon Viper Sports on my F2...stick like glue, take bumps, mid-corner, in stride...really good sport tires.
I'm getting another set when these wear out in about another 2,500-3,000 miles or so.
Plus, they are abut $90 front and $100 rear respectively.
