Default Anyone ever make thier own? vertical swingarm plate?

I am poor at the moment and just got my new undertail. Would love to do a swing arm plate holder, not sure if anyone has fashioned thier own? Of course does not have to be near the machined quality, just interested?

You can get a piece of aluminum from Home Depot and bent a right angle, trim the side that would be attatched to the swingarm, and viola, a $6 plate holder.

I have the ability to fab up something just honestly do not have the time right now. I ended up winning an auction on ebay of a very basic and very generic looking swingarm plate mount. Thank you for the reply and interest though.

I made a horizontal one i know it sticks out far but i never go that low, in mass you have to have your plate horizontal and lite up so i created this it has two leds to light up the plate and the wire is all hidden i did the same set-up on my cbr but its on the other side of the swingarmName: rear-1.jpg
