I bought a charger/maintainer from sears on sale for $20.00 which goes into a float mode so the battery does not get over charged. It also comes with a set of clamps or direct connect to the positive and negative terminals which is what I use so I would suspect the clamps also connect to the positive and negative terminals.

just wire them to the battery. also most batteries will tell you to not charge with more than 2 amps. i picked up a tender from wally world was like 14 bucks. has float mode and charges at 1.5 amps.
