Hi All, thought i'd share this. had a strange intermittent loss of power to the bike generally over rough patches of road. The HISS, FI and dash would flicker off then come back on.This went on for a couple of times then went away completely. just done my 8000mile service and thought I'd check through the usual culprits. Side stand switch, earth/grounds, Bank angle sensor, fuses, relays, rectifier, battery ALL GOOD!!! Turned the bike on and lifted the fuse box to see if any contacts where loose underneath and it cut the power off and then straight back on. Long story short the battery has two positive terminal connections. One for the main feed and one to the datatool s4 alarm. The connection was just slightly loose. Tightened up hey presto fault gone.
